بازیکنان این بازی، انتخابی ندارند جز وارد شدن. برای آنها، بقا در گرو بازی است. اما آنهایی که پشت نقابها نشستهاند، نیازی به این رقابت ندارند. آنها فقط نظاره میکنند، کنترل میکنند، و از تماشای تقلا، لذت میبرند.
اما آیا این بازی فقط در دنیای داستانی رخ میدهد؟ نگاهی به جهان واقعی بیندازیم؛ جایی که ابزارهایی مثل تحریم، جنگ رسانهای و فشارهای اقتصادی، همان نقابهایی هستند که قدرتهای بزرگ، پشت آن پنهان شدهاند. در این شرایط، ملتهای مستقل ناچارند تصمیم بگیرند: در این بازی تحمیلی شرکت کنند، یا زمین بازی را ترک کنند.
در این میان، ایران یکی از کشورهاییست که انتخاب دوم را برگزیده است. نه برای راحتی، بلکه از سر آگاهی و استقلال. ایران حاضر نشده در رقابتی وارد شود که قواعدش از پیش نوشته شده و نتیجهاش فرسایش است. این تصمیم، سخت و پرهزینه است، اما نوعی ایستادگی است در برابر نظمی که بقا را به بازیای مرگبار تبدیل کرده است.
شاید «بازی مرکب» فقط دربارهی افرادی نباشد که برای زنده ماندن میمیرند. شاید دربارهی ملتهایی هم باشد که برای زنده ماندن، تصمیم میگیرند بازی نکنند. و در جهانی که سلطهگران پشت نقاب پنهان شدهاند، شاید شجاعانهترین کار، ترک کردن زمین بازی باشد.

From its very first season, Squid Game quickly became a symbol of economic inequality and the pressure of capitalism—a world where poverty and debt drag people into a ruthless competition, while the wealthy remain spectators. The phrase “Play… or die.” is not just a line from the series; it reflects a reality we still witness today.
The players in this game have no choice but to enter. For them, survival depends on participation. But those behind the masks don’t need this game. They only watch, control, and take pleasure in observing the struggle.
But does this game only exist in fiction? Look at the real world: tools like sanctions, media warfare, and economic pressure are the very masks behind which global powers hide. In this setup, independent nations are forced to decide—either join a game imposed upon them, or walk away from the field.
Among these nations, Iran is one that has chosen the second option. Not out of ease, but from awareness and independence. Iran has refused to enter a competition with rules written in advance and an outcome that leads to erosion. This decision is difficult and costly, but it is a form of resistance against a system that turns survival into a deadly game.
Squid Game may not only be about people who die trying to live. It may also be about nations that choose not to play in order to survive. And in a world where those in power hide behind masks, perhaps the bravest act is to walk off the field.
